UX Writer / Content Designer

12 month contract opportunity, high potential to extend

"Hybrid" work environment

3 days per week in the Vancouver office

"MUST" be in the Vancouver area

Responsibilities:

• Refine and update the B2B style guide and design system documentation, ensuring both align with brand standards and user needs
• Collaborate with product designers, UX writers, and developers to improve integration of content standards into the design system and ensure consistency across user touchpoints
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of complex information architectures, ensuring content is logically organized and easily navigable for B2B audiences
• Review and audit content to ensure it adheres to style guidelines, design systems, and accessibility standards
• Provide guidance and support to internal teams on best practices for content design, style guide usage, and content creation

Skills & experience:

• 5+ years' experience as a UX writer, content designer, or similar role, with a focus on B2B content
• Strong knowledge of design systems and experience maintaining or developing style guides for complex organizations
• Familiarity with information architecture principles and experience applying them to content-heavy websites or applications
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and usability best practices
• Experience using data sources and unmoderated user testing tools to measure, analyze, and refine UX copy

$55 - $65 per hour for an INC consultant
