All over the world, the name Hasler is synonymous with Swiss quality in the railway market. The head office of HaslerRail AG is located in Berne, Switzerland. For the extension of our team, we are seeking to hire in Tokio, Japan a dynamic and motivated Sales Engineer.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Technical sales, i.e. acquisition and promotion of the HaslerRail product portfolio in Japan and neighbouring areas.
• Customer relationship management, further improve the customer as well as partner relationships in the area, especially with customer technical departments.
• Create a transparency for the regional market regarding the market development, customers and competition.
• To prioritize the right business opportunities for HaslerRail in Japan.
• Improve the response time and customer satisfaction through close local support and local understanding of customer needs.
• Create offers, attaching to the HaslerRail Bid Process and contract negotiations based on customer applications and specifications.
• Handle sales activities in cooperation with Area Sales Managers, bid managers and any other stakeholders.
• Work closely with project and product team to prepare proper technical solutions for the customer.
• Involve in the commercial negotiation with local partners/ end customers.
• Involve in trouble shooting as contact window to customers.
• Customer Service sales activities and lead the communication.

Requirements

• Holds an engineering degree (preferably electrical/electronic engineering or similar).
• Has profound experience in the sales front of technically challenging industrial goods.
• Has proficiency in English (other foreign language knowledge, is a benefit).
• Has profound experience in the sales/service front of technically challenging industrial goods (involving in Railway Industry is a benefit).
• Customer oriented and service minded.
• Good skills and technical knowledge about HaslerRail products.
• Soft skills, e.g. social competence to be able to understand and support the customers and HaslerRail employees.
• Communicative and able to circulate information and present to all hierarchical levels.
• Solution oriented and knows how to handle conflicts.
• "Can do" attitude, willingness to go beyond defined job description.
• A driven personality able to achieve goals through self-motivation.
