Medavie Health Services West (MHSW) is the subsidiary of Medavie Health Services responsible for the optimal operation and management of EMS Services in Central Alberta, an integrated, pre-hospital care organization. The PCP provides immediate treatment and transportation of sick and injured individuals to appropriate medical facilities. Due to the nature of operating in the public eye, a high level of professionalism, communication, and knowledge is always expected. The paramedic is required to conduct themselves in a safe and discreet manner, with the responsibility of conduct justification to patients, family members, hospitals staff, management, public agencies, legal court, and more. As an employee of MHS, you are accountable to our patients, coworkers, and management by supporting all safety-related initiatives, as well as fostering a culture that focuses on patient safety and a safe workplace.

QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Alberta Operators License class 1, 2 or 4.
Current registration with the Alberta College of Paramedics
Completion of Alberta Health Services MCP's
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
Certified in and maintains CPR certification
Current registration with the Alberta College of Paramedics
FARE Certificate required
