Job Description
We’re looking for a seasoned iOS Developer for our downtown Toronto client for a 7 month contract. This role is ideal for an experienced individual contributor with approximately 10 years of hands-on iOS development experience.
This position is focused on contributing to a server-driven UI initiative, with a strong emphasis on improving test coverage and code quality, alongside building new capabilities within a modernized mobile codebase.

Responsibilities
What You’ll Be Working On:
Enhancing and maintaining a modern iOS application (not a legacy system)
Working in a server-driven UI architecture
Writing new tests and improving existing ones (about 60% of your time)
Building and iterating on capabilities (remaining 40%)
Collaborating with a small cross-functional team that includes:
1 Android Developer
1 Junior iOS Developer
2 Backend Developers
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Diploma
Approximately 10 years of iOS development experience
Strong command of Swift (codebase is 95% Swift)
Solid understanding of software testing best practices
Comfortable writing and re-writing unit and integration tests
Experience building UI screens and consuming RESTful APIs
Excellent communication and remote collaboration skills
