WUT Custodian

Summary

The Wikwemikong Technical Services Unit is seeking applications for the position of WUT Custodian. Working under the supervision of the WUT Custodian Supervisor, the Custodians will perform janitorial services within Wikwemikong Band Administration Building (25,500 ft2).

Job Duties

• Perform janitorial services within Wikwemikong Band Administration Building,
• Check and change waste bins in all offices, meeting rooms, hallways, vestibule,
• Check and change hand soap, paper towel, toilet paper, hand sanitizers, dispensers in all restrooms, offices, meeting rooms, hallways, vestibules,
• Dust mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, floors, mats, carpets in all offices, meeting rooms, hallways, vestibules,
• Clean and disinfect floors in all restrooms, offices, meeting rooms, hallways, vestibules,
• Clean and disinfect restroom sinks, urinals, toilets, waste bins, dispensers, mirrors,
• Clean and disinfect kitchen areas, cups, coffee pots, fountains, counters,
• Setup and preparation for evening meetings, setup tables and chairs, coffee machine and supplies,
• Floor stripping, waxing, buffing,

Requirements & Qualifications

• Grade 10 Equivalent
• Work flexible hours (Evenings Monday to Friday 3pm to 11pm)
• Ability to work on your feet 90 % of the workday
• Ability to lift 40lbs
• Must be committed to working each day, week, month, year

Salary

• $59,916.00 Annually
