Overview: WGU is looking for a talented Web Designer with a strong UX focus to support its digital presence. This role primarily involves managing website visuals, resizing images, and refining headers for improved user experience. While not a complete redesign, the designer will help ensure the universitys web content is visually appealing and intuitive for u . The ideal candidate is proficient in Figma for light design work and has experience collaborating with content teams. If converted to full-time, this position will require four days of in-office work per week. Required Skills & Experience Must-haves: Basic web design experience with a UX-centered approach Ability to size and format images for web compatibility Familiarity with design software, ideally Figma Experience refining layout elements for improved website usability Proven experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) 6.5 Bachelors degree in a related field Nice to Have Skills & Experience Plusses: Exposure to personalization tools such as Tealium or VWO Workfront experience for project collaboration Basic HTML knowledge to assist with minor adjustments Strong attention to detail in maintaining a polished website experience Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
