Job Description

IT Business Advisors is looking for a full-time Systems Administrator for our progressive technology management company. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration of our clients’ IT environments, including remote and onsite support.

Responsibilities

• Client Advisor – assisting with design and implementation of network LAN and WAN environments
• Client Relations – providing ongoing client assessment and contact
• Client Support – providing onsite and remote problem identification and resolution for our clients’ IT environments, including desktop, server and network support, including after hours support
• Client Preventative Maintenance – managing and maintaining client IT environments

Qualifications

• College Degree or equivalent
• 4+ years of experience with a Windows Server environment
• Must have hands-on experience with a Windows Active Directory environment
• Experience with Microsoft Office products
• Thorough understanding of DNS and IP routing
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server versions
• Experience with management of backup software
• Ability to manage and perform tasks simultaneously, working with different customers and problems at the same time
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team environment and communicate with clients
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to schedule own time and perform duties on a daily basis
• Must be able to work flexible hours and weekends on occasion
• Must have own transportation and be willing to travel to client locations within the GTA
• Experience with MAC and Linux administration is an asset
• Preference will be given to candidates with Microsoft Certification
