We’re expanding our Scripted Development team and are hiring for multiple roles across various levels. Join us as we build something bold.
Key Responsibilities
While responsibilities may vary by specific role, the core functions include:
● Assist in organizing pitch materials, research, and internal reporting
● Project Development: Generate, evaluate, and develop original scripted content ideas from pitch to greenlight.
● Scout, identify, and cultivate emerging and established talent.
● Industry Trendspotting: Monitor and analyze current trends in the broadcast and streaming space to help shape our development slate.
● Track competitive projects and analyze trends across traditional and digital platforms.
● Maintain the development slate and ensure timely follow-ups with creative partners.
Qualifications
● Minimum 5 years of experience in scripted development at a studio, network, streamer, or production company.
● Demonstrated ability to identify and nurture talent across diverse voices and storytelling styles.
● Strong knowledge of the current media landscape, particularly scripted programming across both traditional and digital platforms.
● Deep and broad connections within the creative community (writers, agents, producers, etc.).
● Passion for pop culture and a clear understanding of what resonates with audiences today.
● Excellent communication, critical thinking, and writing skills.
● A collaborative, proactive, and entrepreneurial mindset.
