Full-service restoration company covering the I.E. specializing in water & fire damage restoration is looking to hire an Estimator to join our team.

Position Summary

The Estimator role is critical for the success of a restoration company, as they are responsible for creating estimates in Xactimate utilizing the program guidelines and IICRC standards. They must be detailed oriented and understand the Insurance Restoration industry.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Work with Project Manager/ Crew Chief/ Lead Tech on scope of job
• Document loss with clear and descriptive job photos and upload into operating system/software
• Writes mitigation and reconstruction estimates using Xactimate and other estimating software
• Estimate using carrier audit standards and manage the estimate based on feedback from client and customer
• Record of Drying using mobile software such as MICA
• Communicate w/ insurance companies, and adjusters via phone and email in a timely manner
• Manage all estimate documents and assess project risks
• Review quotes and estimates with the construction project team
• Addresses estimate exceptions in a timely manner
