Your Role:

As a Pellet Mill Operator, you will play a vital role in our production process. You’ll be actively involved in supporting our production teams to meet targets while ensuring safety and quality standards are upheld.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor the operation of pellet mills, hammer mills, and related equipment to ensure optimal production and quality.
• Follow standard operating procedures for start-up, shutdown, and normal operations.
• Maintain high standards of safety and housekeeping throughout the plant.
• Perform basic maintenance to keep equipment in excellent working condition.
• Demonstrate a commitment to safety and exhibit safe behaviors consistently.
• Effectively communicate and collaborate within your team and across the business unit.
• Complete necessary logs and records for plant checks.
• Flexibly cover other positions as needed to support business operations.
• Be willing to work flexible hours, including unscheduled overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Operate equipment to start, stop, or regulate systems.
• Inspect equipment and report any damage or mechanical issues.
• Record operational data such as readings on meters and gauges.
• Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, walking, and climbing.
• Understand risks and follow detailed Job Risk Assessments (JRA) to avoid hazards.

Who You Are:

Do you have experience in heavy industry and a high school diploma or equivalent? Are you skilled in operating mobile equipment safely and efficiently? If so, we want to hear from you!
