Graphic Designer Contract

Calgary

Our client, a busy and fast-paced print shop in Calgary, is looking for a Graphic Designer to join their team on a 1-week contract . This role is from June 9th - 13th and would be great experience to build out your portfolio!

• Monday to Friday schedule: 9 AM to 5 PM (30-minute lunch break)

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Create and edit business card templates using provided information and brand guidelines
• Prepare templated layouts for custom apparel print jobs
• Perform minor graphic design tasks as needed, ensuring quality and consistency
• Maintain organized design files and follow standard operating procedures for templating workflows

WHAT YOU BRING:

• 1–3 years of experience in graphic design, either in-house or agency
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and InDesign required
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, layout, and color theory
• Ability to follow brand guidelines and apply them consistently across various assets
• Good communication skills and ability to take feedback constructively
