GPTech is seeking a Grants Manager to join our bid team for an upcoming Solar for Allprogram funded by the Virgina Department of Energy under the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund, a $7 billion initiative under the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) aimed at expanding access to eligible affordable, resilient, and clean solar energy for low-income households and communities, including tribal nations. The Single-Family Solar Sub-Program (SFSS) will assist single-family households by providing grant subsidies to lower overall costs for system installation and essential enabling upgrades for eligible households in Virginia. In addition, SFSS will work with financial partners to improve access to project financing to supplement the grant subsidies. The SFSS will include grants to subsidize solar systems ($40 million) and enabling upgrades ($10 million). The Multi-Family Plus Storage (MFPS) Sub-Program similarly includes a grants program for pre-development technical assistance, upgrades, and battery storage for on-site solar at multiple-family properties, totaling $17.8 million. GPTech is applying for both the SFSS and MFPS solicitations and the total scope for the role will depend on whether we are awarded one or both sub-programs. This position is contingent upon award. The Grants Manager will be based in the Arlington, Virginia area. Responsibilities: Lead the overall administration of the grant programs for SFSS and/or MFPS, including managing and coordinating with project staff and stakeholders to deliver the grants activities. Manage the full grant lifecycle, including application intake, eligibility verification, due diligence, and execution of grant agreements. Develop and implement processes for ongoing grant disbursement, fund tracking, and financial reporting to ensure efficient use of program funds. Ensure compliance with federal and state grant requirements, including EPA reporting guidelines. Contribute to relevant project reporting to Virginia Energy and to support EPA's required project-level reporting (e.g., semi-annual, final, and transaction). Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in public administration, environmental policy, finance, or a related field 5 7 years of direct experience in grant management, program administration, or contract management Strong understanding of federal grant regulations, including OMB Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200) Experience with renewable energy or energy efficiency programs preferred Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in grant management software and financial reporting tools Green Powered Technology
