We’re excited to share an opportunity for an existing vacancy as an Electrician.

Our customer seeks a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our automotive manufacturing team during the night shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment used in the manufacturing process. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of production lines, safety, and adherence to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems, machinery, and controls within the manufacturing facility.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment.
• Diagnose electrical issues and implement effective solutions promptly to minimize downtime.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with safety regulations and company policies.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Collaborate with production teams to address electrical needs and support new equipment installation.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation.
• Assist in implementing continuous improvement initiatives related to electrical systems.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures and other safety protocols to ensure safe working conditions.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably in an automotive or manufacturing environment.
• Completion of an accredited electrician apprenticeship or technical training program.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team during night hours.
• Physical ability to perform tasks including climbing, lifting, and working in confined spaces.
• Certification/licensing as an Electrician.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with PLC programming and automation systems.Familiarity with robotic welding and manufacturing equipment.
