What You’ll Do:

• Lead and manage day-to-day operations for Food Safety and Quality Assurance across the facility
• Supervise FSQA and Sanitation teams, ensuring full compliance with USDA, FDA, ODA, SQFI, and GMP standards
• Champion a contamination-free environment by proactively overseeing food production and plant operations
• Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies, customers, and third-party auditors
• Lead cross-functional teams in root cause analysis and corrective action planning for food safety concerns
• Monitor key Quality KPIs—including Customer Complaints, FTQs, and Food Safety incidents—and partner with internal teams to resolve trends or issues

Qualifications, partial list:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Food Safety or Science
• USDA Minimum 10 years of Food Safety Management experience in a food processing facility
• FDA, HACCP, SQF, or BRC experience, including leading facility audits
• 5+ years of prior employee leadership experience
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and varying shifts as needed
• Competence in basic math and Excel. Ability to communicate in English
