Job Title: AZ Delivery Driver

Location: Oshawa, ON (near Hwy 401 & Stevenson Rd. S.)

Shift Details: Casual schedule with a mid-morning start (approx. 9:00-10:00 AM). Shift lengths range from 8 to 11 hours depending on the delivery route.

Pay Rate: $25.00-$26.00 per hour based on experience

Position Overview

We are currently hiring an experienced AZ Driver for a transportation partner based in Oshawa. This is a payroll position (no incorporated drivers), ideal for someone seeking flexible work hours and a combination of local and highway deliveries throughout Durham Region and nearby areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate AZ-class vehicles on scheduled routes involving both local and regional travel
• Load and unload shipments manually when required (may involve lifting up to 70 lbs)
• Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on time
• Drive both automatic and manual transmission trucks confidently
• Maintain positive customer relations during each stop
• Provide support with basic warehouse duties as needed

Qualifications

• A valid Ontario AZ license with 2-3 years of driving experience
• Clean and current CVOR and driver's abstract (issued within the last 30 days)
• Background check from RCMP or local police (within the last 30 days)
• Strong route knowledge of the Durham Region and surrounding areas
• Ability to manage physically demanding deliveries and flexible hours
