Job Description

About Us

At Taggart, we're more than a company. We are a proud, family-owned business with deep roots in Eastern Ontario. We're leaders in building communities, from infrastructure and commercial spaces to residential homes. Our long-standing stability and continued growth create a variety of opportunities for those looking to get hands-on experience and build a lasting career.

This role is with Taggart Realty Management, focused on acquiring, developing and managing residential, office and commercial property. Taggart Realty Management has a consistently large number of new projects being developed at one time, each at varying stages of the construction process. The projects are focused in the Ottawa and Kingston marketplaces.

At Taggart, you will be part of something bigger, and what you do today will make an impact for years to come. We believe in your success.

Building integrity, quality, and community together.

Who are you?

You have a deep passion for customer experience, complemented by hands-on experience in commercial property management. Your exceptional interpersonal and communication skills have allowed you to build strong, collaborative relationships with tenants, contractors, vendors, and suppliers. You are proficient in issuing purchase orders, processing invoices, collecting rent, and tracking expenses. Additionally, you excel in communicating effectively with both internal and external stakeholders and have experience in crafting correspondence as well as maintaining online database records.

To thrive in this position, you should possess at least 2 years of experience in property administration and demonstrate keen attention to detail. Proficiency in MS Office at an intermediate level is essential, while familiarity with Yardi is a valued bonus. It's crucial to maintain confidentiality and manage situations with diplomacy and professionalism. We will consider a combination of education and relevant experience.

If you want to be part of a company that values your skills and passion for property management in building communities, we invite you to apply for immediate consideration.

The Taggart Group of Companies offer a competitive compensation package.
